Description:	The Belgian BioIndustries Association (BBA) is a non-profit organisation bringing together biotechnological forces and expertise in Belgium to promote biotechnology development and to represent actively and to support its members in Belgium and abroad. BBA helps its member companies, research institutes and laboratories to reinforce their competitiveness and succeed in their development by helping them gain access to up-to-date information and supportive measures that favour research and investment in Belgium. BBA strives for reinforcing the competitiveness of its members and develops cooperation with EU and national authorities. BBA promotes better understanding and acceptance of benefits of biotechnological applications by the public and encourages the set-up of a coherent and supportive legislative framework.
