| Description: | ANGIS offers a comprehensive system of software, databases, documentation, training and support for biologists. Service which has been available to subscribers for over 14 years (Origins of ANGIS). It is operated by the Australian Genomic Information Centre (AGIC). ANGIS operating funds come from subscription costs. Start-up costs and some equipment was funded by the NH&MRC and ARC. It provides access to a large number of bioinformatic resources through the BioManager web interface. It provides bioinformatic tools for: Sequence analysis, Genome Analysis, Data collection and handling, Databases, Phylogenetic Inference. |
