The Laboratory of Cell Motility at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Prague is looking for a postdoctoral researcher, who will study mammalian cilia, malfunctions of which lead to severe human diseases.

The researcher will employ approaches of cell biology (cell culturing, light and electron microscopy) and biochemistry (immunoprecipitations, reconstitution assays) to address processes leading to construction of the ciliary cytoskeleton.

Candidates should have:

• PhD degree,
• Experience with mammalian cell cultures, including preparation of cell lines expressing tagged proteins and RNAi,
• Experience with protein biochemistry is favoured.

We are further looking for a motivated scientist who is able to work independently. The position will commence earliest in October 2017 and will initially last for two years.
