Genes & Genetic Systems

Genes & Genetic Systems, formerly the Japanese Journal of Genetics, is published bimonthly by the Genetics Society of Japan. Genes & Genetic Systems covers a wide range in the field of genetics: general genetics, molecular genet-ics, cell genetics, developmental genetics, population ge-netics and evolution, molecular evolution, and genome re-search. Members of the society in particular are encourag-ed to submit manuscripts, which should be in English, but nonmembers are welcome to contribute as well. 1) Types of articles (a) Original papers. (b) Short communications, including gene mapping data. (c) Reviews, including mini-review. (d) Abstracts of papers presented at the annual meeting of the Society. (e) Book reviews.
