For my client, prestigious biotechnological company I am looking for Bio-analyst.

Department: Business Intelligence

Responsible To: Head of Business Intelligence

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Employment Type: Full time employment
Position summary: Market analysis in biotechnology, scientific evaluation of business opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

• Market analysis – includes general description of the disease market in key geographical regions, definition of the market size (demographics, patient population), drug penetration with projections, current standards of care and expected change, detailed analysis of competition including products in development, patent protection, pricing and reimbursement status, scientific evaluation of preclinical pipeline
• Scientific evaluation of all aspects related to research, drug discovery and development
• Scientific support of business development activities

Skills and qualifications:

• University degree, deep knowledge in biology  + interested in life science business, analytical skills, able to understand and analyze scientific literature, fluent in English, MS Office - MS Excel advanced user
• Experienced business analyst (>2 years’ experience in life science industry) - project assessments and business case

Preferred qualification:

• Ph.D. in Biology, with specific expertise in one or more of the following areas: immunology, oncology, tumor biology, molecular biology, biochemistry
