Zlepšení vstřebávání pesticidů rostlinami

Datum: 12.4.2012

Tato společnost má zájem o licencování, "proof of concept", společný vývoj, smlouvu o dodávkách.

Description:
Farmers use agriculture pesticides to control a broad range of target pests that compete with the health of growing crops, applying products either to plant foliage or to soil surfaces. The client seeks new approaches and technologies to increase pesticide uptake into the foliage that increases movement within the plant leading to improved efficacy.

Possible approaches might include, but are not limited to:
-Novel formulation components, additives, enhancers or synergists
-Technologies that mitigate or preserve active ingredients against losses from UV light, excessive rain or volatility
-Technologies with proven ability to deliver hydrophobic compounds across a membrane.

Conventional, commercially-available surfactants, wetting agents, or adjuvants that promote adhesion to plants are not of interest.

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements of the request
The successful technology will:
-Demonstrate increased active ingredients uptake or movement within plant
Must have data to support claims
-Be capable of achieving even coverage on foliage or soil surface
-Be compatible with:
Aqueous formulations (either suspensions or emulsions)
Agricultural carriers (i.e. fertilizers)
-Have acceptable environmental and toxicological profile
Be non toxic to humans
Be non toxic to agricultural crops (non phytotoxic)
Preferably components will have no biological activity against non target species
Be biodegradable or will not bio accumulate or persist in the environment unless it is present in nature
Not increase potential for actives to leach into groundwater
-Maintain stability in a liquid, sprayable formulation with shelf life = 2 years
-Be cost effective in an agricultural commodities environment
-Demonstrate potential for cost effective manufacture
-Be novel, proprietary and patentable.

Further Information (Technical Details Concerning the Profile):
The respondent should start by submitting a written response briefly describing the technical approach and providing information on technology performance, background, and description of the responding team and its related experience.
The response will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Overall scientific and technical merit of the proposed approach. - Approach to proof of concept and performance.
- Potential for proprietary position (i.e. novel or protectable technology).
- Economic potential of the concept.
- The respondent’s capabilities and related experience.
- Realism of the proposed plan and cost estimates.

Some items that will be especially important to include:
-High level description of proposed technology including: Clear description of technology mechanism, and test methodology to establish efficacy Availability of technical data demonstrating efficacy of approach compared to existing technology Estimated unit cost at recommended usage levels Technology maturity (Reduced to Practice, Ready to Commercialize, commercialized) Proposed activity, deliverables, budget, and timeline -Pathway to commercial scale including timing and estimated budget -Toxicology data -Sample availability and cost -Position on intellectual property including patent references -Desired relationship with sponsor -Team description and related experience.

Collaboration Type:
