Hledaná technologie musí být použitelná pro turecké producenty oliv. Technologie by měla být již vyvinuta ve výjmečném případě se může jednat o vývoj v laboratorním stádiu.

In olive oil manufacturing plants olive mill wastes are produced in great amounts. In practice, the olive mill wastewater (OMW) is currently disposed into evaporation ponds/lagoons or discharged without treatment especially by the small-enterprises (SMEs) due to economical concerns related to the treatment expenses. Thus, the olive mill wastewater is still one of the major concerns causing water and land pollution among the olive growing countries all over the world, and the current treatment technologies are often problematic leading to environmental and aesthetic problems.
The Turkish company's working areas include environmental consultancy and environmental audits, carbon and energy management, eco-labeling and certification. The company identified the problem with OMW among their clients in olive sector and therefore they are looking for new technologies to be able to solve the problem.
