Francouzská společnost zabývající se zpracování zpracováním odpadů hledá nové způsoby zhodnocení polystyrenového odpadu.
Cílem je získat na konci proces krystalicky polystyrén s nejvyšší čistotou a průhledností.
Hledáme partnery (soukr. společnosti i výzkumné organizace) s technologií schopnou dosažení tohoto cílem.

Description:
New rules on the French waste and recycling fields are focusing on new wastes to be recovered.
Polystyrene is one of this waste on which the company wants to work and create a new activity.
The company managed to source a quantity of 1000 tons of expanded polystyrene.
The objective is to obtain, after the recycling process, crystal polystyrene, in the form of pellets; these crystal polystyrene pellets will feed an extruder.
Different R&D tests have yet been done by the company without good/reliable results.
One of the difficulties is to treat the different pollutants present in the product sourced.
- One of the pollutants is the bad smell, very significant, due to the use of the polystyrene as boxes for seafood and fish packing.
- Others pollutants are mainly composed of solid impurities.
Other difficulty is linked to the type of the material sourced
- ‘classical boxes’ of expanded polystyrene
- Or compact blocks of polystyrene with high impurities contents.
That is the reason why they are looking for partners (industrial or academics ones) able to propose a technology, ready-to-use to face these difficulties.
The technology should be able to wash, remove the bad smell, and obtain the pellets (by grinding or other process). Maintenance of the technology/system will be an important parameter for the choice of the partner.
Company will build a specific plant for this new activity.
Schedule of the company: to have a process ready to use for April 2013 at the latest.
