Technologie zpracování popela ze dřeva a jeho použití jako protiskluzový materiál nebo hnojivo

Maďarská společnost vyvinula technologie pro zpracování popela ze dřeva. Produkt se dá použít jako protiskluzový materiál nebo jako hnojivo. Produkt je ekologický a nezpůsobuje korozi dopravních cest tak jako např. sůl.
Technologie je vhodná především pro elektrárny spalující biomasu; pro společnosti zajišťující sjízdnost cest; pro zemědělství a pro zahradničení.
Společnost hledá partnera z oblasti průmyslu.


Description:
The Hungarian company is carrying out developments in connection with biogas-production, utilization and bio-refinement for the sake of the sustainable development. It is also member of a similar cluster.

The placement of the generated ash means a problem both in case of biomass power stations and in case of furnace with wood fuel in family houses. The offered technology provides two alternatives for solving this problem:
• Application as non-skidding
• Utilization as bio-fertilizer

If the wood-ash was directly put on the slippery roads in winter, then it would go with the wind. It wouldn’t be able to prove its non-skidding effect. Therefore, the wood-ash has to be processed first. The process involves the following steps:
o mixing with other natural materials (mainly with liquids)
o drying
o granulating or pelleting
o wrapping hermetically into plastic bags, so the wood-ash cannot get water, because if it mingles with water, the wood-ash alkalifies and then its storage becomes difficult.

After this, the bags can be taken to the streets to make the roads non-slippery by dispending the dry wood-ash mixture. The wind won’t blow this mixture. If the weather becomes milder, it would also help to move ice. When the snow starts to melt, the wood-ash mixture can flow directly into the living water without cleansing, because it does not pollute it. It is desired to locate the processing machines near the biomass power station, because the biggest amount is generated there. The remaining wood-ash mixture can be dispended onto the land, into the gardens as alimentary substances improving the soil.

Wood-ash as granular biomass has been used for soil-improvement for centuries, because it is rich in microelements (potassium, phosphor, magnesium, calcium carbonate). It is good for deciduous trees, for bushes, for fruit trees, for root vegetables, for tomato, for bulbous and for herbaceous flowers, etc. It is also good as repellent, for example it is very effective against colorado beetle, tree-lice and scale-insects. If the main aim of using wood-ash is to improve the quality of the soil, then the quality of the mixture can be further improved by adding new natural materials to it.

Tasks to be solved: establishing pilot-work and developing the technology further.
