Description:
This romanian company has developed an anhydrous glycerin separation process from water waste resulted from fatty acids industry.
The invention relates to a process of separating anhydrous glycerin from polluted water resulted from fat acids and soaps industry, by water distillation with solvent in a single or two stages, with intermediate removal of salts. The technical solution allows obtaining very high yields and purity.
Similar process already on market has many economic and technical disatvantages like: excessive consumption of utilities, separation plant complexity, investment and operating costs, environment pollution, and to obtain an impure product are required redistillation and low yields.
The problem solved by the process is a cost-effective method of separating glycerine from water waste resulted from hydrolysis of fats, soaps industry and raw materials needed.
