Post-doctoral Researcher in Animal Physiology and Genetics

We are looking for a motivated persons to investigate regulation of the RNA metabolism and cell cycle.

The research is focused to

1. RNA metabolism related to the control of gene expression in the cell,
2. Enzymatic activities involved in the regulation of meiotic maturation of mammalian oocytes and in early embryos.

Candidate:

• The candidate is a person with an interest in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field.
• The successful candidate should be highly motivated; display initiative and independence.

We offer:

Training in advanced techniques of cell and molecular biology, such as: microinjection of oocytes and embryos, confocal microscopy, protein kinase activities assays, live cell imaging, FISH, immunocytochemistry, etc.

Appointment is for one year and renewable dependent on successful scientific progress. The position is available immediately. The position is open until filled.
