A German company developed an electro-medical device for the treatment of aesthetic-cosmetic skin irritations, e.g. spider veins and Hemangioma, which, compared to common laser technology, forms no scars and guarantees a fast wound healing. The technology is based on the input of low radio frequency in combination with concurrent flow. The company is looking for companies from the medical technology sector for commercial agreements with technical assistance.

Description:
Skin irritations or telangiectasia, such as spider veins, Couperose, Hemangioma (strawberry mark) are commonly treated with sclerotherapy or laser technology. The affected skin area get damaged thereby - scarring, pain and a complex after care (compression bandage, e.g.) and a long convalescence are usual accessory symptoms.

A German company from Saxony developed an electro-medical therapy method, which treats aesthetic-cosmetic skin irritations with low radio frequency in combination with concurrent flow. Compared to laser or high-frequency technologies the tissue (skin) gets not damaged, which leads to a much shorter time for convalescence (wound healing). Additionally the risk of scarring is eliminated.

The treatment is nearly painless for the patient and there are no nameable side effects. Due to the fast wound healing following treatments are possible just after a few days (compared to laser methods, which have a therapy break of 4-8 weeks between the sessions).
