6th International Symposium in the Series Recent Advances in Plant Biotechnology

(September 12 - 16, 2005)

The forthcoming meeting intends to stimulate international co-operation among EU centres of excellence in plant biotechnology, in particular those of the new EU member states. It will provide an excellent opportunity for PhD students and postdocs to present their results and to attend attractive lectures focussed on rapidly developing field of biologically active compounds in plants and their applications in biomedicine. The workshop "From Laboratory to Business" will address another challenge for the Central and Eastern Europe — to encourage patenting, practical applications and spin-offs based on plant biotechnology research. We hope you will accept our invitation to participate in and to contribute to the Symposium. We look forward to seeing you in České Budějovice.
