The conference presents the first forum for high-level discussion among pharmaceutical executives with the remit of boosting drug pipelines. The meeting will facilitate cross-functional discussion at the top of big pharma on assessing the enormous untapped chemical asset that industry possesses. The conference brings together people from diverse functions within pharma to rethink the entire process of what the starting point for a pharmaceutical product should be. To get around the lack of drug targets there is a need to change the prevailing pharmaceutical business models, and explore the viable alternatives the industry faces.
