Summary: A Flemish Research Organisation has found a method to increase the succinate production per cell by 40%. The system can be applied in any succinate producing strain to increase production rate. Succinate has been marked by the US Department of Energy (DOE) as one of the top added value chemicals from renewable resources. They are looking for industrial partners for preferably a research cooperation. Other cooperations are possible.
